IBERMEDIA NEXT will be at VentanaSur with 29 animation projects

  • The winning projects of the second and third IBERMEDIA NEXT calls will attend the event, 15 in total from the 3.0 call and 14 from the 2.0 call
  • The projects will take part in one to one meetings, roundtables and will have a meeting space granted by the Ministry of Culture, through the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA)
  • Founded in 2010 and with more than 2,000 professional participants, Ventana Sur is the main cinematographic market in Latin America. This year it will take place from 1st to 5th December in Buenos Aires

For the third consecutive year, IBERMEDIA NEXT is taking part in the Ventana Sur festival, Latin America’s largest audiovisual content market. This time, IBERMEDIA NEXT travels with a delegation of the 29 projects selected in calls 2.0 and 3.0, of which 14 projects are from call 2.0 and 15 from call 3.0, from 2024 and 2025, respectively.

Ventana Sur is the largest Latin-American showcase for buying and selling audiovisual content for international industry distributors and buyers, and IBERMEDIA NEXT participates in this year’s event with two main objectives: make the quality of the animation of the 29 selected projects known and take stock of the three years of its initiative giving voice to representatives of the winning projects.
